Digital Trends is looking for a Technology News Writer:

Digital Trends, a leading consumer electronics news and reviews Web site, is seeking a part time news writer to help beef up our expanding, timely coverage of tech news. We prefer a writer who is East Coast based (we are based in Oregon) or an early riser in other time zones to help break product announcements, consumer Web site launches, product recalls and much, much more. As most important tech news of the day debuts early in the morning, early coverage M-F is a prerequisite for this position.
Those interested in applying should know we will pay a flat rate on a per story basis. We are looking for someone preferably who already has online tech news writing experience of at least one year. A formal journalism background is not required as long as you know where to find breaking news and can be quick on reporting it.
