Telemarketing is a form of selling via telephone; it is a direct selling marketing method, wherein the sales persons contacted the prospective client to pitch for the certain products or services. Telemarketing can be a form of Outbound, Inbound and Lead generation.

- Organize your time. Time is important in every thing, if you know how to manage this then you can be successful in everything that you do including the telemarketing.
- Do have a checklist; it is important that you monitor those clients that you have been call and those who are not yet. Note those who need to call back and call them again, at the agreed time, this are also a way of showing them your professionalism.
- Always be professional, you can be friendly to them but make sure you are not loosing the essence of professionalism.
- Be aggressive. This is necessary in sales you cannot closed a deal if you are not aggressive.
