Locate Jobs Network Rolls Out Five Niche Job Boards

The Locate Jobs Network announced the launch of its first set of multiple vertical job search websites, supplying targeted job seeker traffic and cost-effective job posts in the environmental, NICU, paralegal, logistics, and aerospace industries.

Network co-founder Michael Wist explained, “As we’ve stated previously, we believe that niche job boards offer a value level that simply cannot be achieved with a one-site-fits-all job board approach. Our sites are designed to generate highly targeted traffic, specific to a particular type of job, industry or geographic location. By rigidly maintaining such a tight focus, we filter out much of the superfluous and passive traffic that many larger job boards deliver.”

The niche approach to job boards and online job search portals is nothing new, but the Locate Jobs Network takes a novel approach to their job posting rates. Rather than charging a premium, rates to post jobs on the Locate Jobs Network are significantly cheaper than almost every other job board. This approach is designed to attract initial job posts, but is also an acknowledgement of the value that employer-provided content represents for all job boards. Locate Jobs Network recognizes the mutually beneficial relationship that is inherently created when hiring agents post their jobs and content to niche job boards.

“Our model is designed to attract active job seekers who know exactly what types of jobs they want,” said Locate Jobs Network co-founder Matthew Blevins. “Visitors to our sites are not typically window shopping for their next career opportunity and, as a result, we are delivering maximum value to the employers, recruiters and advertisers who choose to market their jobs and their services through our network of niche job boards. Job seekers who find our sites are far more likely to be qualified candidates and, as a result, more likely to contact an employer or recruiter with a resume.”

LocateAerospaceJobs.com is a job site that is dedicated to aerospace industry jobs and employment categories ranging from aircraft mechanic jobs to quality control jobs. Job posting rates are significantly below the standard for this highly competitive industry.

LocateParalegalJobs.com is a niche job board that focuses on paralegal jobs and related positions in the legal field. With jobs ranging from legal assistant to litigation paralegal, most non-attorney law office positions are covered. Firms hiring for these positions will have the advantage of highly targeted traffic to their job posts.

NICUJobs.com targets the highly specialized career arena of neonatal intensive care nursing jobs, allowing hospitals and medical recruiters maximum focus and ROI on their recruiting efforts. Early feedback from recruiters indicates this particular board will be of immediate value to medical human resources professionals.

LocateLogisticsJobs.com tackles the sometimes-ill-defined arena of logistics and includes jobs that vary from CDL drivers to logistics analyst jobs. The geographic component to this logistics jobs resource is especially important, empowering employers as well as job seekers to narrow broader searches to more specific locations.

LocateEnvironmentalJobs.com is a nod toward the growing concern over our decaying environment, providing a professional stepping stone for people to find environmental jobs that might help in saving the planet. With a broader selection of employment categories than many of the sites in the Locate Jobs Network, job seekers will find everything from renewable energy jobs to environmental safety jobs

Following a Career In Telecommunications

Telecommunications twenty years ago was very uncomplicated. The business idea involved the provider offering a simple fixed-line phone service to companies and individuals, with these consumers paying a fixed fee on a monthly basis.

However, since then the number and variety of products offered by businesses in this sector has increased dramatically, and this along with the introduction and development of the Internet in the mid-1990s has meant that the telecommunications industry has moved onto a global scale.

Between 1991 and 2003, the value of the global telecommunications industry rose by $800 billion and the value of equipment sold in this industry rose by almost $200 billion.

The industry continues to grow rapidly since its initial boom during the 1990s. Experts predict that there will be 7% employment growth per year in the telecommunications industry. The industry offers a wide variety of career opportunities and the main ones are discussed below.

There are various types of Engineers in high demand in the telecommunications industry. Network Engineers plan for the needs of particular networks, whilst Field Engineers have a more hands-on job, actually having to install telecom equipment at customer`s homes and business premises. Test Engineers have the job of checking that the product actually works to the correct standard and Applications Engineers (also known as Software Engineers) concentrate on writing code for the different types of technology.

Customer Support Staff have the very important job of communicating with customers, usually through phone calls or e-mails. They help to answer queries and solve issues, from identifying a problem the customer is having to fixing any faults/bugs the customer has with their technology. This role in the industry is usually good for employees who don`t have a background in the engineering field.

The final main career opportunity available in the telecommunications industry is in a Public Relations role, whereby the employee works with the government and press to improve the company`s relations with these two parties.

Often a good place to start a career in telecommunications is working in Customer Support, as the experience gained here can be useful in other areas of the industry. Employers seek workers who have the skills of computer programming, telephony and cellular technology to name but a few, and favour potential employees who possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, sales ability and business knowledge.

PPC Affiliate Marketing. To succeed in the field, workers need to have knowledge of the industry, and also be driven and motivated to be successful. Product Managers are those that tend to be higher paid within the industry and they usually posses an MBA or many years experience in telecommunications, with this usually gained in roles such as Engineers or Customer Support.
