Staff Writer Needed

The River News-Herald, a California Delta-based weekly community newspaper is seeking a talented staff writer to provide a variety of articles on local politics, the environment, sports and lifestyle features.
Applicant must be a strong copy editor and headline writer; proficiency in the AP Style is crucial. Experience in Quark and Photoshop (using a Mac) is preferable. Position also requires photography.
Opportunity for growth within this paper or its sister publications.
This is a full-time position.

I have engineering and medical degrees and have written numerous articles for science and engineering magazines. And yes I’m good at writing headlines, subheads and carryover heads. How do I apply for a blog science and technology writer? Thanks.
