About the Position
The position is crucial to the ongoing growth of Oddcast as the leader in the online conversational speaking character (avatar) market. Oddcast is seeking a Business Development Manager for its new consumer platform, Voki. The business development manager will be responsible for mapping, sourcing, negotiating, and closing new strategic partnerships. This position will primarily focus on partnerships with social networking sites, blog
publishers, online brand entertainment publishers, online video environments and other relevant digital media properties. The position will provide you with the creative freedom to explore new channels for distribution to help grow the overall Voki business. If you are an ambitious self-starter with a history of success closing deals and an ability to think on your feet, we’d like to meet you.
The position reports to the VP, Business Development and Strategy.

• Mapping the online social media partner market & developing an expertise on its channel formation
• Prospecting, Sourcing, Negotiating and Closing New Member Acquisition and Revenue-Generating Partnership Deals
• Creating and delivering collateral and presentations communicating the value proposition to potential partners
• Provide feedback to the VP, Business Development and other Executives with market/partner wants & needs
• Manage the Partner Product Integration process and be the liason between the product and marketing teams
• Identifying and establishing initial contacts with decision makers, and leverage existing networks.
• Managing the on-going relationship with partners.Requirements:
• Candidate should have exceptionally strong interpersonal, presentation, communication and influencing skills
• 1-3 years of prior experience sourcing and closing strategic partnerships with senior-level executives
• Experience in business development (deals with product integration focus) for online/technology companies
• Demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast paced results oriented work environment
• Proven analytical and financial modeling capabilities
• A deep understanding of the consumer social media market
• B.A degree is required
