Freddy&Ma is looking for a bizdev/event planner for custom handbag events:

Freddy&Ma is a fashion label that creates unique custom handbags and accessories. Our goal is to make designing custom handbags as easy as purchasing ‘off the shelf’ handbags. We are a fusion of fashion design and technology and strive to always stay on the leading edge of both fronts.

We have an interesting role available that is a combination of business development and event planning. We are looking for a creative, fashion saavy person to join our team and help us generate and execute custom trunk shows in the New York Tri-State Area. The main functions of this job are as follows:

- Pitching, organizing and executing custom handbag trunk shows for corporate clients in the NYC area
- Pitching, organizing and executing custom handbag trunk shows held at private residences in the NYC area
- Assisting clients with designing bags at custom trunk shows

This is a very unique position and requires a fusion of sales aptitude, fashion saavy, event planning skills and network management skills.

The ideal candidate:
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has 2-4 years sales experience, preferably in a corporate/b2b setting with a proven track record of success
- Has a unique sense of style, follows fashion trends and gossip rags
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Outgoing personality, enjoys group settings, LOVES planning events
- Have an entrepreneurial bent and want to work for a small, rapidly growing company
