Job Hunting During Christmas

Everyone needs a job and job hunting in the latter part of the year may seem to be the least likely time you can get a new job in the market. The last quarter of the fiscal year is usually the season where everyone is expecting to get fat bonuses and getting ready to celebrate the Christmas season. For most corporate offices, chances are they are likely to be closing their accounting books and inventories, and of course holding off all new applicants who are seeking employment.

Hence the last three months of they year is always known to be the lean season of job hunting and most likely, you would be better off preparing to look for a new job by February of the succeeding year. Everyone is in a vacation mood hence the reason why you may find it difficult to get that interview and potential consideration for the job.
