5 Popular New Year’s Resolutions
It is that time of year again; where you start thinking about your New Year’s resolutions but this time it will be different. You are going to stick to them, whether it is one goal or 10 goals. Make realistic goals for yourself, one’s that you can easily achieve and be proud of what you accomplished after the year is over and the next begins. Some New Year’s resolutions and goals are listed below that might help you get started. Some goals should be kept for health reasons, while others should be in helping others without having to make it a New Year’s resolution or goal.
1. The first goal is to spend more time with your family. If you work all week, spend the weekends with your family, even if it is on a Saturday or a Sunday. Go outside and do something like go fishing, bowling, a drive in the country, or even going to the mall. What ever it is you do, do it together with your family. Don’t just make it a New Year’s Resolution but spend more time with family through every year.
2. The second goal is to make time for yourself. Treat yourself to a soothing, relaxed, long hot bath, get a message at the spa, or go to the shore or Atlantic City for the day, as long as it is something you do not usually do on a regular basis. This is a nice refreshing goal to keep in mind every year.
3. The third goal is to diet and exercise. Many people are overweight and should diet and exercise to help lose weight or to maintain the weight. Set little goals and stick to them, add on if nececessary
4. The fouth goal is to get out of debt is a good New Year’s resolutionsl to keep yearly. This goal is a good one and will help repay you many times over in the coming years ahead.
5. The fifth goal is to help others . Volunteer to help others is a popular non-selfish New Year’s resolution and one that should be kept yearly. You can help out at your local library, mentor a child, or other nonprofit volunteer organizations that could really use your help.
Sit down on your couch or favorite chair, with a cup of coffee, and begin to write down your New Year’s Resolutions that you intend to keep. Refer to your list often and check off the goals that you have completed and if desired, make new resolutions.
