Alchemy Plus Opens New Potential Jobs in Highlands

The key towards opening business also relies on the climate where it will be situated. Especially for data centers, the need for proper climate support is a need considering they heat up fast and thus would always need good levels of temperature to keep them competent.
So with that in mind, an estimated 400 new jobs may be opened once this new project by Alchemy Plus, a partner of Microsoft, finally settles and develops.
The new £20 million building is billed as Scotland’s first eco-friendly data centre and is planned for a major development at Inverness harbour.
Peter Swanson, the chairman of Alchemy, told the Scotsman: “This development could not be better timed. Demand for premium data-centre space continues to far outstrip available supply, and the current economic downturn is driving a rapid shift towards “cloud-based” services, which offer greater economy and flexibility.
